Hello world,
I've a strange problem.
I've an unopened Xbox 4034 (V1.0 I suppose)
Using a photocamera (seen Usb flash drive) and using Ed Debian livecd I've transferred the Splinter Cell gamesave (downloaded from Xbins: Splintercell_save_With_Evox, pal version) to the Usb flash.
It worked: xbox accepts the card with savegame, so I transferred to the xbox hard disk that now contains:
1) Linux installer (54 total blocks, 51 inside the item)
2) Splinter cell (10 total blocks, 3 blocks inside the item)
Then I started Splinter Cell (original, Pal version), and I chose:
-start game:
-linux (is the only profile shown, BUT under the label "controller" it shows BAD TYPE)
-check points (as told in the readme of the file from xbins)
Then EvolutionX (V+3935) starts, BUT:
1) The "Launch DVD" option is selected and I CAN'T MOVE that selection with the gamepad (the gamepad works in "normal" xbox operations)
2) I tried to telnet to 192.168.0.3 but I can't connect
3) if I press the "A" button (the only thing I can do...) it shows the 21 service error
What could be wrong? Must I upgrade the dashboard before trying loading the gamesave? (Must i chose the "live" function from the Splinter Cell to do that dashboard upgrade?)
Or the gamesave files are corrupted? (even if the xbox accepts them?)
Somewhere I found the MordensAudioSC.rar (containing Splinter_Cell_Save.zip 2260792 byte), anyone knows if this works and if can break something? (I want to backup the hard disk before messing up something, but I can't do that until the ftp works...)
Any ideas?
Thank you
