btw, do I need the gameid.ini .. and if I do, do I need to edit it in any way ? I've been putting it in, I'll try it without it now.. Hopefully something will work.

I think I figured out what I was doing wrong !! I'm not sure about my zipping file techniques.. I think I've been doing it all wrong. Can someone tell me how to do it, just so I know if I'm doing it right or not. Thanks guys !

you need the hdd info off your non modded xbox or the one you want the save to work on.

Oh.. How am I suppose to get that? How do other people ? Thanks, and I know I'm doing everything right now. I mean I can zip and all that properly. So I need the HDD key for my non modded xbox eh? Damn...

Also, one other thing I was wondering about is that in that thing quest4547 posted, do you need to change anything or just copy and paste it directily in the resign.ini ?

just copy and paste if the game name shows up in the program then its right. for getting the hdd key try the 007/MechAssault exploit and load up evox into your xbox. then you can use a mechassualt save found at xbox-saves and it will dump the hdd key onto your box and you can ftp it over

after you use the mechassualt save that dumps the hdd key the info will be in the e:\udata\4D530017\xbinfo.txt (thanks pham0100) for that info

Ok, thank you. I found many tutorials on how to do that.. A few questions though..

-How or can I even return back to my MS dashboard .. I might keep the dashboard since I can still play on XBL.. So no reason not to =)

Just a quick question, What format is the HDD key in? Like 1274856b4 or
186033
393009
739896
or 3a 4b 8c 9s 8z. Those I just made up.

Or in other words, witch one do I use: XboxHDKey, HDDLockDisablePassword, or HDD Key

any idea if you risk any chance of getting banned by resigning savegames like this? I have heard that PSO can ban you for hacked save games... don't know if I believe it.

At any rate, I need to get my PSO savegames off of one box and onto another.

where does the gameid.ini file go? i've got the other two folders in, for the Hurricane pack update, but when I load up ninja gaiden it says my first save game is broken.. =/. im guessing its cause i dont have the gameid.ini in the correct place, anyone got any ideas?
