Ninja Gaiden, Broken Saves?

Can you give more information?  When all you say is that it is broken that really doesn't give anyone enough information to help you.

to my understanding the saves need to be re-signed with xbox game save re-signer. i tried 3 or 4 saves for ninja gaiden, all saying that they were 'unable to load' and the pic on the save is 'damaged game'. i have the game re-signer, but don't have the auth key.

download the save you want and unzip the file, download game resigner unzip and find file resign.ini add this info into that file

Ninja Gaiden:

Maybe part of the reason the game save doesn't work is the same thing that won't let you copy NG savegames off the hard drive onto a memory card.

QUOTE (SpIdErXeN @ Mar 11 2004, 05:22 PM)
Sup guys, i finally got xsavesig to work in resigning the NG saves.  I figured out that I had been using the wrong hard drive key in the xbhddkey.ini file.  I actually had to use a program called Config Magic (copied it to my Xbox hard drive in my e\apps folder) and after running the program it gave me what is called a "Unique HDD Key".  This is a 32 character key and needs to be specified in your xsavesig's xbhddkey.ini file.  The saves will not resign properly if it isnt in there...it was a pain in the ass figuring out what I was doing wrong.  The files which need to be resigned are, "UDATA\54430003\94F54A75F22C\save000.dat", and "TDATA\54430003\system.dat" Either one, or both can be found in all NG saves you may download, but basically you may only have to resign the "UDATA\54430003\94F54A75F22C\save000.dat" file as I have not tried very many saves yet.  Thanks guys, hope this helps.

Well, I got those files, but I'm sorry for being stupid, but I don't get by what you mean by 'resign'...Am I suppose to open it with something and do something with it?  I got my unique key... What do I do now? .. I'm lost, lol, sorry guys.

Alright, thanks.

I'm trying to get the save file from my modded xbox to my non modded one by using Action Replay.  I failed again, lol, and I got game resigner and stuff.  Hopefully someone can help...This is what I'm doing:
-FTP save file from xbox to PC using XSM
-put HDD key into xbhddkey.ini file
-run game resigner with the stuff added in, told by quest4547
-choose Ninja Gaiden save than system dat
-let it do it's stuff & it says "File successfully re-signed".. click okay
-make the UDATA, TDATA, and gameid.ini into zip file
-double check zip file to make sure it has everything (it does)
-put the zip file into PC database on Action Replay
-transfer that file from PC database onto Action Replay
-put Action Replay into controller & copy to non modded xbox
-damage game when I try to load  dry.gif  blink.gif

^Very detailed, lol.. Hope someone can pinpoint what I'm doing wrong.. Thank you guys.

I use Magic to get my unquie HDD key from my modded xbox.  I do it to both files.. has someone tried both files (system & save), and has it worked when they did it ?  I'll try it again and look for my HDD key again to make sure it's right.  Some of the letters looked like some other letters, so I'll keep at it.

I'm suppose to have the whole UDATA and whole TDATA folder in the zip file right?  I have those two folders w/ all the stuff inside + gameid.ini .. Should I just have the save & system dat in the zip or the whole folder ?

Hey, Grospolina, thanks for the help bud.  Yes, I do have EvoX3935 and um you say that I need the unique HDD key from the Xbox that you're transferring it to, but that one is non modded.  So does this mean I can't transfer it ? I'm basically getting all the saves, hdd key and everything from my MODDED xbox and transferring it to my non modded one by using Action Replay.  This is possible right?  I'll keep trying.. still can't get it to go.
