Can Someone Clear This Up For Me

No! This calls for a fast reply. There is a BIOS called Evox M7 and there is a dashboard called EvolutionX (evox for short). Two seperate things...

OK now. You revealed that you have PBL 1.3.5i. This means that your Bios (Evox M7, called xboxrom.bin) goes in E:\Bioses. Also in E: you put the other PBL files including the executable (E:\linux.xbe) which should be signed with -audio.

The audio hack doesn't look in C: It executes E:\linux.xbe which loads your xboxrom.bin (the EvoxM7 bios). Then a dashboard (a user interface) needs to be loaded. The default action for most bioses is to look first in C: for a executable called evoxdash.xbe. So if you want to run the EvolutionX dashboard copy the EvolutionX xbe to C\:evoxdash.xbe (along with its config files). No signing needed. Got it ?

Congrats! So you went back to the old bios.
Just a guess but the EvoxM7.bin you tried to use. Are you that was the BFM version ?
