Game Save Hack Not Working?

could my problem be that i'm using an AR memory card, or that I have not "signed" the exploit?

Are you getting an error message of some sorts? Are you using the Platinum Hits version or Game of the Year Edition Mechassault/007:AUF? AR cards usually corrupt the save... Try a madcatz/m$ one. Also, make sure the *.xbe in the save is signed -habibi. smile.gif

Same problem. I've got a 1.5 with K:5101 D:4920 and a rented 007:AUF that does NOT say platinum on it, rented from BlockBuster.

Here's what happens. If the xbox is clean (restored from backup image) then 007 loads up with no problem.

If I load the gamesave onto the xbox then boot 007 it will not load and brings up a screen saying "xbox needs service, call # in manual".

I am using Mordens modified audio hack which I assume is already signed as there are no signing instructions included with the package from xbins.

I'm using xlinux / swap to get the gamesave on the HD so memcard issues are not a problem.

The only thing I can think of is either this version of 007 is fixed, even though it doesn't say platinum on it. Or something is different about my xbox or my combination of kernel and dash. My xbox came loaded with 4920 but was upgraded by live to 5xxx (live 2.0) then downgraded using 4920 from slayers (downloaded from #slayers). My unit is also a SW/Tetris Bundle.. which I hear may make a difference.

Any info is appreciated.

I also have the SW/tetris, 1.5 xbox.   Maybe this mod doesn't work with new
x-boxs'.  maybe we are going to have to crack that baby open and try the hot swap?

I've already opened mine. I'm using the swap method already. Swap works fine, the Xbox can see the 007 game save. But it still won't load.

I've been seeing some stuff in the forums that say the Star Wars / Tetris bundles are DIFFERENT than other 1.5's and wont work with softmods that other 1.5's will work with.

I just bought a brand new XBOX, which I bought after the SW/Tetris bundle.  I used the basic MA hack, without the extra EvoX apps, and it works fine.  I have video problems with the new hack.

Download the program "XBEdump" and sign the gamesave's *.xbe file with -habibi.

Sorry but more than likely Mordens hack is wanting to run PBL (for what reason I do not know)
And your X-box cannot run PBL (according to sources on here)

You'd have to replace the PBL xbe with a copy of the evox xbe signed habibi this way PBl wouldn't load but evox will
