Are you saying PBL is scrambled but otherwise it works?


If so... Read, read, read....


If it's not working at all, then you may have a 1.5, or other issues, but I need to know more...

it wasnt working at all but maybe something was done wrong and im not sure what the other guy problems were but im thankful for you trying to help me:)

I had a 5101 dashboard/kernel box (downgraded to the 4920 thanks to Slayers) and haven't had any trouble with the old font hack and I just got the audio hack working instead (just so I don't have to worry about the clock loop). What exactly did you try? What exploit are you using first to get the files  on? Maybe we can help you from there?

well i used auf 007 to transfer a evox tomy box and ive tryed ftping differnt things from there but everything ive ever tryed gives me erors or doesnt work

Downgrade your Dashboard and use a newer bios if your going to use PBL

You FTP into the xbox and replace the dashboard files on drive c: with an older version. You may find a copy on xbins.

You need to atleast replace xboxdash.xbe xbox book.xtf xbox.xtf and place an older version xboxdashdata on there (all from the same version older dashboard of course)
