Live Info Problem!

I am trying to install a new hd into my softmodded xbox.  It is an old fat32 40 gig maxtor hd.  For some reason, LiveInfo is not reading it.  I cannot sellect it from the 4 device options.  Even though the drive is working fine in XP.  Please HELP
