Tried a new memory card today, I got the MS one and it does the same thing as the Interact. I also xbedumped to check
the keys still the same error code 21!

Not sure what to do now. If it was a flash issue wouldn't it create an error log with the problem?

your xbox model (or guess on it)

also how did you transfer the save on the harddrive?

and what gamesave hack are you using?Mordens?

I had the same probs with the AR card..but have been told that u will always get Error21 with the new AR cards (f**k)....people have said that with the MS card they have no error21...but just wanted to check if it was maybe just the exploit i was trying before i go and splash out on another Memory card..
Xbox is a V1.1
with the 4920 dash / 4817 kernel...

I felt exactly like you last night. I went and bought a MadKatz card and to my surprise it actually worked!

Can u get these Madkatz cards in the UK....I live in a poxy little town that dont even sell the MS card?!?!? If u want a PS2 memory card....no problem.....Xbox memory card...shop owner looks at you as though you are some kind of dickhead... :lol:

xbox 1.4/1.5 its the star wars/tetris combo with live already installed (heard this could be the culprit)
using 007 save game with raincoat and I transfered the save game via ftp from my modded xbox
to the ms and interact memory cards.

I open the save game it acted like it was going to work and then it goes to flashing orange and green
with an error code of 21.

Hmmm think thats all I can tell ya's.....

If I could just get my matrix mod to work in this version of xbox I would just flash my 1.1 which should
flash pretty easily.

are you loading the gamesave from the memory card? if so, you will have to transfer the game save to ur hard drive and use it from there; i had the same prob and it sounds like ur booting it directly from ur mem card.

Also try starting a level in 007 first, then quit out then load your savegame.

Having Live 2 on it doesn't stop the savegame hack working.

I'm having the same problem. I followed the tutorial correctly (or so I think), and i load the 007 save onto the HD then load it off the HD when the game boots up. I still keep getting the damn error code 21! My XBOX is the version that came with JSRF/GT combo. I went out and bought an interact one and it still didn't work!!

Here we go. My brother and I purchased 2 xbox's last month. Both were the Stars combo xbox's. I played live on mine but not on his. We did the mechassualt hack on both boxes. Placed the same files on both xbox's. BUt the one that went live will not let the hack go through. Both box's load the game save hack and are abled to be ftp'ed to. BUt the one that went on xbox online comes up with a code 21 after the bert and ernie xploit are loaded, the other boots to evolution dash with no problem. I have tried numerous times to get the other one to boot the evolution dash but always error 21. So can i take the working h/d and back it up with hdd_driver and then restore it to the non working xbox to get it to hack? Secondly what do I do after the evolution dash is up? Also how do I set it to where I can keep playing live on them?

Becuase you used Live on it MS will have updated it with thep atch to stop the font exploit working.

You need to get the slayers CD (search on here) and then you can downgrade your dash and it will then work as your other Xbox. I would bother with HD swaps etc... it's easier to use Slayers.

Alright I guess I need the sLaYeRs Install CD to downgrade the dash, but do I burn just like a regular CD-RW? Will the Xbox read it right off the bat?

It comes as an ISO, I couldn't get anything to extract it so I written it to a CDR-W using Nero. Then I got my mates already eploited Xbox, booted it to Evox, put the CDR-W in and FTP'd the contents to my PC. Then I got the Xbox that needed downgrading and used the savegame hack to get it into Evox then FTP'd the right files over.

i have the same xbox has the other dude either v 1.4 or 1.5 that came with tetris and star wars...i got the gamesave hack on to my memory card but am i missing something? i dont see anywhere in the memory part on how to copy stuff from the mem card to hdd
