First of all, do you mean using the game save to flash ur tsop, or doing a software exploit?

wink.gif Only after much research and trial and error.

Anyway with the tsop flash, you save urself the expense of the modchip.  It's generally very easy to do, but if you have a bad flash or something goes wrong, it's a pain to fix.  But you can then install a modchip and boot off of it.  I've done around 15 tsop flashes without a problem.  If ur interested about LIVE, u can do a multi bios switch so you can boot a hacked bios or an original bios (only on 1.0 to 1.1).

Yes, you only use the game save once to overwrite the original bios on ur tsop.  After that, you can use evolution x to reflash it unless u have a winbond tsop.  Then you have to use the game save again if you want to update.

also i was going to get a bigger hard drive maybe 80 or 120 gig. Couldn't i just go to a compusa or a computer store that sells hard drives and just buy it from them instead of buying it online?

Sure, any IDE hard drive will work.   If you're interested in playing on LIVE, you will need to check and see if the hard drive you want is lockable.

Go there to see if your hd is lockable.  I bought my hd on ebay for about $120.
