ok.. well I am going to take the drive out and plug it up to my pc and remove the new default.xbe and config file and put the old ones back.

but..  How do i upgrade evoX .

I would also like to install the phoneix bois but.. the tutorial makes no sense to me.

It says to rename default.xbe to evodash.xbe ...  and copy it .. back to the hard drive.. but without a default.xbe how will the machine  know to boot evodash.xbe?

The font hack tells it where to go I assume.  Instead of popping your drive out, have you tried sticking the 007/MA game back into the xbox and see if you can get to a dashboard from there?

I'm not familiar with his tutorial but, default.xbe needs to be signed with xbedump with the -font command. His method "may" use the Phoenix BIOS Loader, and thus it would load something like evox.xbe or whatever...

anyways, yeah
either put your hdd in your pc and fix it like that or go get a modchip... other than that, your screwed

i was just thinking while staring at mxm and thinking about making my own skin

your error was in not signing the xbe for -font before you uploaded it

Actually, if he can unlock his drive, all he would need is an image from a working drive.  Did that OOPS thing myself too and ended up looking for the files.
