You're right Xbox Live 2.0 doesn't affect 007/MA hack. If you're still trying, it's most likely the 3rd party memory card

Im a Noob myself so as the longer standing members have said 'dont take what im saying as gospel'...but as far as i know having the Live 2.0 will effect both the font/audio exploits (eg. the mordens audio hack only takes the 4920 dash, nothing newer than that)...you need to downgrade ya dash to use the exploits (007/mechassault), MS fixed the exploit with the 2.0 upgrade

And as for Memory cards and the Exploits, from all the posts i have read and from experience its simple....Interact and Action Replay cards DO NOT WORK...MS and MadKatz DO!!! Adios!

Stupid Question: Did you install the hacked save to your HD or try to run the save from the mem card. I tried to run the 007 off my memcard last night and it fragged but when I installed the save to the HD and ran it from there I got the orange(working) light (havent soldered yet).

You can use 007 after upgrading to Live 2.0. My little cousins upgraded by mistake and I ran 007 then copied the dash files from Slayers pack onto the C drive. This got the audio hack working again.

i_spin_trance: the gamesave must be on the HD to work. So boot up the Xbox with no game in it, then go to memory and highlight the memory card picture. Then select the 007 gamesave on the memory card and copy it over to the HD. Once you have it on the HD, boot up with 007. But before loading the game, start a new game first. Then once the game has started quit back to the main menu. Then Load the hacked gamesave from there. Also make sure you don't have the newer platinum version of 007. The new ones are patched so that the hack no longer works. Some platinum ones work, some don't. I don't know why you need to start a new game up first, but it works.

leavemealone: i did what you said but the only option i have when i pick the 007 hack is delete. this is my stats:

K:1.00.5101.01
D:1.00.5659.03

i have either xbox 1.4 or 1.5 made 8/12/03

did my dash get updated? or am i still doing it wrong? or what?

please help me someone

1) Hacks will work with Live 2.0.
2) You need to load it off the hard disk.

Copy the game over to the hard drive. Don't be that bigga noob. YOUR SELECTING THE GAME not the gamesave! See the little circles beside the large one? HIT LEFT, you can select the actual save which is what you gotta copy.

ha yea dumb me put since that post i have progressed all the way to getting the audio hack exploit to work..and it loads my slayers iso disk (thats on a non-virgin cdrw!!! like 5 years old)...now i just gotta connect the tsop point and bam

i'm thinking if the xbox was connected to xbox live they might of patched it.

i have the same problems and the xbox are 1.0 or 1.1

hard bordering on impossible especially with all these other people modding theres it is not far if i cant find a solution will have to resort to a hardware mod i think

you could hotswap the harddrive and then load the softmods from your computer using a program that reads fatx partitions

ya could do that but the whole point of an exploit is not to open my xbox so i dont want that do i thanks for the input but i had considered that and dont really wanna chance frying my xbox

How are you putting the hacked game saves onto the xbox? Via homemade xbox attachment? Action Replay? Because Action Replay always gave me a Error 21. However, when I made my own cable and used a MS mem card it worked fine.

Also using 007 to hack I always have to start a game first, then quit out of the game, then load the game save.

Regarding xbox live patching your xbox. This does happen and will patch the audio hack. I don't believe the patch affects the Gamesave exploit. I hacked my cousins xbox and the gamesave exploit worked fine even after they downloaded the patch by mistake. I then loaded on an older version of the c-drive image. This then allowed to me use the audio hack again.

i am using a usb to xbox connection to plug my controler into then a 3rd party mem card i think that might be my problem but no one i know has an official memory card and for 30 dollars aussie i can get my xbox hardware modded so im just going to go that way
