Can't Get Ms Dash To Work Again

First off, what dash version are you using,
I just had the same thing and fixed it tonight, I dl'd slayers and used those files to install a newer dash version (the one before live 2.) than just hex edited and re-signed.

What were the exact offsets you edited?  What version of the dash was it?  What size was the xboxdash.xbe?

I can't believe with so many people having this problem this isn't better documented somewhere.  With it being this common, I'd expect to be able to download a pre-hacked MS-Dash that loads XFT font files, or at least find a chart somewhere that tells you how to identify what dash version you are running, and what offsets to edit to make it load XFT font files ...

I don't think Method99 is coming back until he has another problem ... it looks like he signed up just to post this thread and once it was resovled, totally screwed off ... no further replies to this, and I sent him a PM requesting he take a look at this thread that I'm guessing hasn't been read yet either ...

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION???

What you need to do is edit the dashboard and rename the xft's then sign the new dash board with what ever hack your using. Make sure you Evox.ini file has the right name for your MS xbox dashboard. Also if you have a fonts folder make sure you rename the 2 font files in your root directory on C.
