evox is the dash that has system utils, launch menu, launch dvd stuff like that.  do you see that?

from evox then are you going to launch menu, then apps, then  dvdx2?  if not what are the steps you are taking to launch the program?
also, can you post your .ini

"DVDPlayer = "e:gamesdvddefault.xbe" " Might be your prob.

Try putting DVDx in E:AppsDVDx. Then change the INI to DVDPlayer = "E:AppsDVDxdefault.xbe
Make sure you have PBL installed to C so it auto starts or run it then launch the DVD. Not from the apps but just from Evox. Evox will run DVDx all on it's own.

can run boxplorer and games copied to my hardrive
maybe i have to install dvd-x with a cd instead of wit ftp
also yamp doesnt work either

try reinstalling dvdx you wouldn't be the first person to have a bad copy.

i wasnt trying to run it off the cd just intall it using boxplorer.  Thank you very much for trying to help though
