Botched X2 Lite Flash, Can I Reflash Using Exploit

I had a botched X2 lite flash.  I'm waiting for my friend's box to get here so I can try a hotswap flash, but in the mean time can I use a soft mod exploit to reflash the chip somehow?  I got Morden's audio hack to work with MA but the problem is my 120 WD HDD is not locked and so I cannot boot to it using the exploit; only works on my original HDD.  Any help appreciated!
