Hi guys,

Maybe I sound really stupid but I can't get the MechAssaultWithEvoX on my AR. When dragging the folder 4d530017 to the AR window it tells me this is not a valid xbox save. What am I doing wrong?

I am having the same problem, I've tried as many things as I can think of (copying the contents to a working saves folders, rezipping and then retrying- and several other things) and nothing seams to work.

The action replay software keeps spitting back the "this is not a valid save".

I've dug through these forums, and every tutorial out there, but they all seam to skip the step where you actually copy the files to the card... maybe for other people it is going simple, but i cant get it to go.

can someone please give me a babystep guide to copying the file (zip/whatever format) to the card please.

I think that save is bolloxed. What you want is Morden's v2 Mechassault one. Simply extract the directory structure into a folder. Then import that directory structure into xbox-save manager and click export under that to create a working save file!. Action Replay recognises it with no problems.

TheMarco it should work. I had similiar problems, I think there was something about removing one of the files for it to work

But what I ended up doing was creating a save on the xbox with mechassult. copying that save to the memory card and then into AR program. Then when the file was on the computer just copied over what was in the rar file. Overwriting any of the files.

yes i also agree you should get another save go to codejunkies.com and download one htere get the one that says pheonixaudioexploit and that one works great heres a link to the mechassault section mechassault download page codejunkies

Wow didn't know the save was actually on the codejunkies community site. I'm surprised that they haven't taken it down yet.

Anyway I'm pretty sure the problem with the original save you were trying to load is that it doesn't have the UDATA folder. So just create a folder UDATA and copy 4d436534 (whatever the folder was) underneath that. and then zip that and it should all be dandy, without the readme.txt

Thank you for the responses, those files worked (mostly) I was able to copy any of the saves downloaded to the card, the only problem is that when I boot the save from mech, it gives me the error 21 screen. I have a v.1.0 XB0X, are there different versions of mechassault out there?

Are you using the official M$ memory card? Some 3rd party ones have incompatibilities that will give an error 21.

Also make sure you don't have any LIVE updates for mechassult. And have you copied the save to the xbox HDD before trying to load it? don't load it from the memory card.

Do a search on these forums for error 21, there's been plenty of posts.

create these folders and put your game save files in the 62D648EBF155 folder
zip all this and it should werk.
