V1.1 Solder Points

I have a v1.1 w/ Sharp chip.  I followed the tutorial on which points to solder, including the extra wire for Sharp TSOP.  However, after soldering points correctly , the box won't boot.  When I remove the solder on the top of the board it boots fine, but when I resolder the points, same problem.  I've reflashed a v1.2 with raincoat and didn't have this problem.  Anybody out there have a similar problem?
