Hrm, well I do't know.

I guess if you wanna just run in and try anything do this:

-Get a big (BIG) magnet.
-Put the hard drive on it.
-Wait a few seconds.
-Flip.
-Wait a few seconds.
-And enjoy with syrup.

I dunno if this'll work because this will totally erase the hard-drive (Something large speakers can do), and I dunno if it can be reformatted after. It worked with an old 1.2 GB hard drive I had in an old PC though. The system didn't detect the Linux ExtFS until I magnetted it, and it appeared as an unformatted disk.
