Help! Can't Use Roms Or Programs

I used the 007 hack. I got evox on the xbox. When i put programs on and edit the .ini file they show up in the menu but when i click on them i get the black screen of death. Help what should i do. I used the bert and ernie files. I also renamed them like it said. skins work but xcommander and roms don't work. Help
