Rename Soundtrack 1?
« on: September 16, 2003, 09:00:00 PM »

So I got Mordrens_Audi_Hack_v2 working on my 2nd Xbox.
I went to do a couple of friends Xboxes also,using same method..the one I'm asking about's is a 4034.
When I go to the music section, there is a "Soundtrack 1" there, per Mordrens .nfo he says to rename it if there is.
I try to rename it,the name won't change.
I try to delete it,won't delete.
It seems this is blocking me from getting the hack to work, because when I pop in the audio cd and do b,down,a,r,r,a,aaa etc it just starts copying the track from the cd.
Is there a way using ftp that I can delete this soundtrack 1 or rename it that way?I even tried copying over the c drive from my unmodded xbox that works,it did update the dash, but I still run into the "Soundtrack 1" thing. I also went to the hard disk memory and deleted all the cd audio stuff in there, didn't help.....
Can I get around this or what method should I use for this 4034 Xbox?

Dude...

How is the audio hack dead?
I just used it on two of three Xboxes last night.
If you upgrade the dash to Version 2 it might be dead(which I haven't done),until they find a workaround.
Per my first post it is Mordrens_Audio_Hack_V2.
I can get ftp access thru the save game hack, but when I copy over the UDATA folder to the Xbox, then reboot, load hacked save again to get Evo-X,then use the "Install Audio Hack" option,it goes thru.
But then when I reboot with the audio cd and do the whole button press thing it just starts copying the track instead of booting to the Evo-X dash.
It is a 4034 Xbox.
I even tried the Bert and Ernie hack which says its specifically for 4034,no go...

Nope.

Just went in to Phoenix loader/Evo-X dash, chose Uninstall.

Then went back in,did Install Audio Hack again, rebooted with audio cd and it worked.

I didn't do anything different that I hadn't done already,very strange.
