ok this is long story, but i'll make it as short as possible.  i have an xbox w/the matrix mod chip and 80 gig hd.  i got my hands on another xbox that i wanted to use utilize the software mod.  i used mad gouki's steps and seemed to work fine. then i loaded the new easy phoenix install.  even better.  seemed like success.  few days pass by, realized i wanted the dvd remote to work correctly(any ff or rew etc... was causing it to reboot) so i installed dvdx 2.0.  worked like a charm, until i thought of my wife who was going to be frustrated not using a dvd remote, so i deleted it and loaded dvdx 1.0(to use the remote).  that's when it all went down hill.  when i rebooted it, it told me it was fixing files. next thing i know, got the screen of death ( i believe the error was 13 or 16).
i tried reloading 007 to get me back to a working xbox, but it didn't work.  then i figured i could see if my already modded xbox's original hd would getting me somewhere, but nothing (obviously it is locked).  i figured i could unlock that hd by putting it into my chipped xbox just to get the hd key(besides that's where it came from).  

when i did that i got errors w/the chipped(which was working perfectly til then).  i freaked out and put the 80 gig hd back into the chipped xbox and got error 13.  Now neither xboxes work. the chipped one give me error 13 the exploited box gives me hd timeout.

i've read around the forum, many sugg. to load the 007 game agian etc... the problem is that in both xboxes i can't load any games or movies. meaning i can't ftp over the my backed up copy of the hd that on my pc.  i have slayer's but considering i can't even load a game i can't use it.    any body experience this?  i know i was a idiot for fixing something that wasn't broke, but i didn't understand why the matrix loaded box stoped working.

i really tried to see if anyone had similar problems, but most posts seemed to be able to ftp or at least load a game.  i did not find anyone who absolutely couldn't do anything with it.  
please help (if you plan to burn me, no need apply.  i'm already pretty pissed at myself)

hmmm.       yes, i see your point about the forum.   but i guess you didn't read the entire post(as you did admit).  i have a game save exploit xbox that's not letting me get into to it. when i try, i to boot up the software modded xbox i get error 7(i know the cables are all fine).  
i guess i will put the chipped one on the correct forum. i was trying not to double post.
