No, quite the opposite. Bert and Ernie reloaded will always set your dash clock to the 4th of July. Bigfonts only attempts to do this if the Xbox falls into the clock loop. FTB bigfonts to your box, then set the date and it should remain set... unless the Xbox loses power, of course.

so whats a way to do it that is permenant even if u lose power???

No, some font hacks work and reset the time as to not cause this, but its still experimental, like above, its resetting the date just incase.

In the end = use the hacks, watch it

Well, except for the audio exploit. That one won't enter the clock loop, but it also won't start automatically and won't let you use custom soundtracks. If you're really scared of the clock loop go with the audio exploit.
