Works flawlessly. I had to go through several saves to find a working one. But this is great. It's Morden's hack all packed nicely into a valid save file.

copy the whole cd or just a few tracks?

. FTPed back into the xbox and pulled the LIVE 2.0 xboxdash.xbe (which is now 1.92mb as compared to 1.55mb) and xboxdata folder out and replace everything I had running in C: prior with font hack. OK happy to see the security wasnt fixed. All that worrying for nothing

. Clean it back out to update dash the again (through ftp means - not another server DL) and tried to launch the same MA hack....didn't work! Tried to MA Linux one...no go either. Then I tried the MA installer that was in Mad Goukis font hack package and that one worked! One other thing I noticed is that the LIVE 2.0 also updated my xboxes kernel to 5101?!? Is it just me? Anyone else get this? Well I have the new dash running on one Xbox so I can get all the updates for all my games through that one and just ftp into it when I want to share that Downloadable Content with my other hacked xboxes. I also formated F: on the updated xbox, but it shows as 0 when I ftp in and on the Evox Dash? I know the partition is formated b/c I still have 2 games on there. Just my 2 cents.

No offence, but its not possible to update the kernel. You got a different XBox or your seeing the dash there boy...

So can anyone confirm if the 007/MechAssault hacks work after this update? I would expect they do.

Also, there is a fact that if you update to the new dashboard and online dash, then downgrade the dashboard, the new online dash will function correctly, and so will the exploits.

I went to play Live without knowing the upgrade was in effect, so I didn't get a chance to back-up my C: drive (was using Morden's 007 package). However, I can confirm for those that are still asking, yes, for me at least, the 007 hack still works fine (have MA, but I still play it often, so I haven't tried it's hack at all). No access to the D: drive, but it's no big deal, I really only play emulators with it anyway.

I have tested the MechAssault exploit, and YES it still works after the Dashboard update..

O.K. I'm confused (it sucks to be a noob). Is the Mech Assault exploit and the audio exploit the same thing? I have the MA savefile called "Run LinuX", when I load this save file in MA I get EvoX on my XBox which then allows me to then swap files (FTP to and from XBox). I then have to boot with an audio CD in the Xbox and do the copy CD trick to open up EvoX after my mod work is complete (i.e. like in Mad Gouki's tutorial). Now my "Run Linux" save will NOT work in upgrade XBL 2.0 dashboard XBoxes but worked fine in the new XBox I picked up. I haven't tried to open the file on my unmodded box which has been upgraded to XBL2.0, I will ty this tonight to confimr that the file I got for my MegaXKey, will not work for 2.0 Xboxes........
