yodanut, i updated all my shit with bert and ernie reloaded, both mirrors..

what i do is use the bert and ernie reloaded in my tutorial
and then when it boots to evox,i use my ms dash i made from krakens tutorial, and set the time in there, then reboot the xbox and the clock is fine... it usually takes less than 20 minutes

also, depending on which version of the xbox you have, your xbox will work better with a certian font set.... i have the original everything, and i use bert and ernie reloaded and it works great... but some peopel prefer the bigfonts... i tried the 20th bigfonts and that had the issue with it not booting after the clock loop so i put bert and ernie reloaded back on there (after 2 days of trying to get my xbox to boot, it finally did)

go to my site, the link in my sig.... iv got a tutorial on how to do the ms dash...

well it works like this
clock is set:
boot xbox
load dash
load fonts
fonts overflow, causing default.xbe to be launched
default.xbe(evox or phoenix bios loader prolly) starts
xbox booted...
clock not set:
boot xbox
load dash
wait, the times not set, what is the time? i dont know... lets ask the user!
ask user time
where are the fonts? oh shit, i cant find them! CRASH!
i dunno how the hacked fonts make it boot, but they do...

anyways... after a clock loop, you have to set the time witht he ms dash or itll keep clock looping...
so you hex edit the xboxdash.xbe to say xft instead of xtf and then save it as something else... now you can load it through evox and you can set the time, as well as any other system settings.

does the clock problem happen if you have pheonix installed

yes the clock loop will occur even if you have phoenix installed.  phoenix has nothing to do with the clock loop; the only thing that causes the clock loop is the hacked font files.

I'm running phoenix 1.3 using the Kraken hack and it works just fine.

But recently I noticed that every time I restart my XB from a reset or power-off the time resets to 4th of July as per the bert and ernie reloaded fonts.

Ididn't think that should happen enless the power was unplugged for a while.

I thought that maybe I screwed up my xvox.ini setting but I’ve tried changing them with no difference.

So just out of curiosity what should the evox.ini be set to with the Kraken hack?

See my XB specs on my Sig.
