Evox Ftp Issue

I have installed evox and Phoenix bios to load up when I turn my xbox on.  However, I cant get FTP access to it from my PC.  If I load the evox with the gamesave exploit everything is fine.  So, I guess what I am asking is, does anyone have suggestions on how I should load things up from within Phoenix bios/evox  to get FTP access.  As things are now, the only way to get FTP is through MA and the saved game file, info on how to get FTP with just the dashboard would be greatly appreciated.
