I used the tutorial you are referring to with the Mechassault exploit instead of 007, and it worked.  I did have a problem getting pheonix to load from the cd screen, but I got around that by going to the memory screen in the normal ms dash and deleting all the music files I had copied to the HD.  Now I can turn on the xbox and use Live without any problems.  When I want to get into evox, I just throw in a music cd, and try to copy it to the HD.  Phoenix pops up, then EvoX.

One little thing, however... it is possible to copy music to the hard drive anymore?
