okay cool cuz i messed up my last modded xbox i had and the new xbox i got is a version 1.3 ( i think) and i wud like to be able to use evox on it. im thinking of using mad_gouki's method (http://freexevoxtut.....com/index2.htm) but i would like to get sum background info on how everything works so that i dont go about fuc*ing up my xbox again. ok so i understand how to use the mechassault save on the mem card to load evox and ftp in................ but then after part 5 on mad_gouki's tutorila it starts talking about this complicated crap called "xbe signing". so after i install evox on my unmodded xbox i have to edit any program i want to use with xbe dump so it will play?? or will it play normally like XSnesX and FCEUltra after i insatll Phoenix BIOS loader???? im not sure exactly what Phoenix does but if im getting this rite its an app that lets me load a BIOS onto my unmodded box so that i DONT have to do that xbe signing crap and my unmodded xbox will read all XBE's????? am i thinkin about this correctly or am i wrong???? any help is highly appreciated

Yes, Phoenix let's you run everything, and you don't have to sign anything at all. You can use Phoenix as an independant app, or you can launch it at startup.
