Adding New Hard Drive: Should I Flash Tsop?
« on: August 17, 2003, 10:03:00 AM »

I've manage to have MA/Phoenix/Audio exploit working, tried transferring a game from xbox dvdrom to xbox hard drive, no problems playing games from harddrive too.

Now I want to add a new hard drive, and was wondering if it would be easier if I flash the TSOP while I have the xbox opened.

I know the whole point of gamesave exploit is the no need of opening the xbox/soldering/voiding warranty.  So since I'm going to open the xbox to add a HD anyway, wouldn't it be worth while to flash the TSOP?  since I'll be voiding the warranty anyway?  I don't need xbox Live.

Any comments? Ideas?  Thanks.

...so in short I would say yes, by all means, flash the tsop.
