I'm having the exact trouble as you.

lots of people are having this problem.. and MANY people have said it's the card not holding its own saves. for instance, trying a MS card in the action replay device sometimes work when AR in device doesnt work.. or you can skip using that shitty device/card at all

or..you might not have built it right..make sure too triple check yourself on building the save if it isn't pre-built

Like I said, Im pretty computer literate so I know the file structure is good. Like I've got the .zip file named as the Datel supplied one (the Datel supplied one is renamed to MechAssaul_DatelMechOriginal.zip) and this is how the structure goes.

Earlier I decided to download one of the Linux saves off of CodeJunkies. It will transfer over fine, but it locks up when I goto load campaign. So I compared the file structure, and there are 4 or 5 files that aren't in my built version. So I copied those over thinking that maybe that will work. Anyways, it transfers over to the memory card, but it still locks up MechAssault. So I said "F it" and went back and built another zip of my original and it won't transfer over still. So I dunno, this is really cheesing me off because I wan't this to work damn it.

As soon as I did that on both my brothers and my Xbox it worked great.

Didnt need the dang MS Memory card to begin with

Did you get the save to transfer over through the AR software? or did you build your own USB-XBox interface cable?

I used the AR Software and teh AR Memory Card.

Also took me a while to figure out I had to drag the ***.zip off my desktop to the center column of the AR Software (PC Database Column). was trying to just stick the file into the saves directory but would not work that way.

Once you do that then it will drag to the memory card ok.

Hrm... well I stuck it in the Saves directory and got it to work... oh well...now just gotta set up the FTP part of this...

I wonder why the Action Replay works for some people but not others? Like I used the AR with 007 but it didn't work (error 21 everytime), but then using the exact same savegame with a jury-rigged pc to xbox connector it worked the first time using the same method I'd been trying before with the AR.
