Im not so sure, connecting 2 pc's with a standard a-a usb cable can be damaging to the computer, or so i am informed.

You do get a cable which is about 10 times the price, it has an elecronic box in the middle that crosses the wires and buffers data (or something to that effect), i believe this would detect as usb file sharing on a pc as opposed to removable storage device, so no i do not believe this is possible, can anyone confirm this?

i think it will work better  to format a external USB(2.0 since its faster on pc and downwards compatible) HDD with FATX and use it as a gigant memory card or something,...
