Hehe guess I'll just answer my own question.

I used the XLinux cd with the HD swap trick.  Worked like a charm.  I just restored my original C Drive
and everything works perfectly.  After gettin Evox going I cleared out my UDATA and TDATA directories
on E and restored to pristine condition.  This allowed the MechAssault hack to work.

YAH!!!
