Well wouldn't that be the same as using a memory card for the xbox? I was thinking that there might be away to bypass the memory card or something by using the adapter to go straight into my pc or something.....I don't know....like I said I am a total newb so....if there are anymore suggestions or idea pass them on please

EDIT: how would I format the memory stick for my xbox? wouldn't I also have to buy a memory stick reader/recorder or something for the pc? I don't have a mod....does that matter?

I don't think I am maybe too clear but right now I cannot access anything on my xbox or transfer anything back and forth throught the ethernet hook up or why would I even think about hooking it up through the PSO.....I cannot afford to buy a card reader/recorder for my computer a memory card would be a fraction of the cost.....I really don't want to buy action replay unless I have to......so is there anyway to use the PSO adapter for transeferring saves from the code sites to my xbox throught the PSO adapter.....so my main thing is can anyone/has anyone experimented with this or has anyone done anything like this......I would think it is possible to have the xbox read your computer through it if you can trick the xbox into thinking that it is a memory card and for instance the shared files on your computer are an xbox memory card or something of this sort.....well thanks for the imput so far if anyone has any Ideas or place to look please let me know.....thanks

P.S. As soon I can get the extra extention or hook up part to splice I will scince I don't want to cut on this controller or buy another one

interesting theory about using a usb cable to link into the xbox... but thats what the network port is for wink.gif

Your right, it would function as a memory card, and to format it, you need to use the memory manager in the MS dash in the xbox which will format it for you.

You dont need any exploit to do this the xbox just sees it as an unformatted normal memory card.

Once you have a memory card you can plug into both you PC and your xbox, your good to go with the gamesave exploit.

#Wonderdog

It is not working I bought a PNY 64MB USB FLASH DRIVE I can use it like a memory card on the xbox no problem but then I can't use it on the PC because it is formated wrong....Then when I format it on the pc and try to use it on the xbox then it reformts it to xbox and erases everything then I can't use it on the pc and back an forth..............so what the hell do I do

EDIT: when I put back into the xbox after formated on the pc it says "memory divice a1 is not working correctly it has been erased" then it doesn't register on the pc anymore and I have to reformat it.....where do I get  ActionReplayXbox.exe from???

jsut by a usb memory stick... you can get a 16/32mb one for less than £15 now, use that with your PSO adaptor and you have a mega-x key in all but name. Dont need to bother chopping any wires!

Like Wonderdog said.
