As far as I've read the yellow wire is an identifyer...
It helps the Xbox identify what you have attached to it

So you don't need to use it for connections to your PC.

well forget about using this method unless u use the new mechinstaller that fixes the clock bug  or the audio exploit everything else has reset on eject problem or clock problem. audio method rules all

the drivers wont work... i went into the hardware manager, right clicked on my "memorex 128mb usb thumbdrive" and went to the driver tab, click update driver, direct it to the xbreader.inf file which i added my drive's PID and VID, which i found using the usbio demo

If you're full of shit.. Don't bother posting. Especially when you give NO reasons in your negative feedback. Especially considdering, rarely anybody else gets the clock bug/reset on eject only depending on the method you used to install it. Reset on eject is dependant on the bios loader, not the METHOD jackass, and the clock bug is the fonts you have, ANOTHER sign that you don't know what you're talking about.

But the whole thing is if the reloaded fonts which supposedly fix the clock bug will work with pheonix loader 1.3/easy phoenix loader/complex loader. and ive read in the integrating into a memory card tutorial u can get rid of the reset on eject bug so considering most people like pheonix 1.0 to 1.3 that screws a majority over.and complex loaders patch for the 1.0 version that adds support for xbox 1.1 to 1.3 is kinda hard to find a download spot its usually just the article. so with all that said  is there any way for sure to use easy pheonix loader 1.0 and get no clock bug or reset on eject bug. but yeah the audio is what a lot of people like. also how was i supposed to know it depends on the fonts when in the ma/007 integrated with pheonix loader tutorial no one knew it reloaded fonts fixed the reset problem. i read on either this or the xbox linux site only the audio or new mechinstaller would make no clock bug so thats me getting misinfo.    But now that the live dashboard has been updated to patch insecurities theres no real use for software mods unless u dont like live which i want. whew with all that said get back to me on the easy pheonix loader . but did u call me a jackass for what i said to the thumb drive card guy  getting a mem card was the easiest way to get success so thats what i said to do. if its about another post then which one. i dont think i left any other neg feedback to anyone in particular.

not to mention i just returned my xbox yesterday and got a 1.4 and did the exploit with no problems..if you wan't live get a modchip and switch, the exploits pretty much..will get you banned. and i've also went from pheonix 1.0 - 1.3 no proeblem many times on many xboxs, the only errors i could see happening are human errors.
