hey,

having some problems with this
actually exactly the same as "tomlad" from page 17 in red text

i have xctrl drivers but my pc refuses to accept them
when using usbview i see it says this : DeviceFailedEnumeration

i have tested it on another pc of similar specifications yet the same thing happens
ive have checked and rechecked and checked some more that there are no shorts, i even reconnected up the cables to their original ends to test that they still work and they do

any help would be great

Okay, I'd like to pose a question. Not sure if anyone's mentioned it in the 17 pages preceeding this... Read the first two or three pages and got bored.
Anyway, I was wondering... isn't the end of the breakaway cable that fits into the controller port of the XBox simply a beefed up USB connector? If you simply ripped off all that plastic shiot, shouldn't it work?

which drivers are better the Xctrl or XID or  XBCD and

when using the madcatz memory card should I see it in "my computer" as a removable drive.  Currently I cant see it but I can transfer game saves to it using
AR software.

by the way I splice a usb male into my breakaway cable so I can still use it with my xbox mod if that makes a difference

Sorry to bump this, but I have a USB 128 mb lexar drive and I have formatted it by hooking it to the xbox with a USB to xbox cable, and then I did  the ozmemory or whatever and made it a action replay card. Action  Reply still won't recognize it. Does anyone know what I need to do?

Coincidentally, I have a Lexar USB Drive and I too am looking into this same exact thing.  I have a save game exploit that I wish to put on my usb drive from my pc and I can't figure out the problem.  It looks like you were about 30 minutes behind me because I've been searchign for about an hour.. and you posted an hour ago.

What a coincidence!

If someone finds something.. please let us know.

I have a post about this here.

Edit: Click the link for the answer (kinda).
