I used Windows Folder compression, which one of the tutorials says is ok to do.. I don't think that's where the problem lies, because I believe Action Replay decompresses the save and sends it to the memory unit. So if you get past that, your zip file was okay.

The game is where I'm having troubles, so something is either wrong with the files inside, or there is some other reason it isn't working.

update: I also tried the 007 hack which runs linux on the xbox.. SAME RESULT. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe my copy of Agent Under Fire was fixed so it wouldn't allow this exploit to be used?

It's the Platinum Hits version of the game.. it was made in 2003.

I have the same "error 21" problem with 007: AUF original PAL version. Kernal and dash are both 4034.

I have rented an older, non Platinum version of Agent Under Fire.. and the exploit works flawlessly.

If you have a Platinum Hits version of the game, and on the front of the game you see any copyrights from the year 2003, chances are the exploit might not work for you. I believe EA has patched up the code which allowed this hack in newer pressed versions of the game.

Just do yourself a favor, even if you go out and buy the Platinum Version: Go to your local Blockbuster and rent the non-Platinum game and have fun! I know I am.

I hope someone comes up with new ideas because I have tried at least ten different savegame configurations but none of them seem to be working. And yes, I've indeed copied the savegame from the AR memory card to the HDD.

I get the same error 21 when I try and load the saved game as well. The copy I have is the non-platinum one that I rented. I'm using an action replay also. I've tried several different save game files, and I get the same error with all three.

to fix the 21 error and make evox work flawlessly...open the top cover of the xbox until you can see its hard drive and CPU, then take a few magnets then run the magnets on it for 2 mins, then leave the magnets on them for 10 mins, then rub your feet on a carpet to get some static electricty and touch the CPU so it shocks it, it will fix EvoX & Phoenix, also this will reset the BIOS and allow for you to load BIOS from the phoenix loader w/o soldering anything, there is 1 more way get the static and touch the 2 points you need to solder to defrag them then load the BIOS & fix EvoXPhoenix
