READY FOR A BOOK?

Ok lets colaberate efforts here a bit and set things straight.
For installation instructions please read the .nfo file in notepad or wordpad on the programs mentioned.

Currently these are the dash's that have mainly been used (feel free to post more):

Complex Loader - 1.0-FX
Complex Loader - 1.1-FX
Fee-XEVox [Basicly Evolution X signed]

Also there are the following fonts out there for the font exploit (this may clear some confusion up)
There are two font files in that have been "hacked/fixed".  Typically named Bert and Ernie or Bert and Snuffleupagus.
Heres what it all breaks down to.

If out of the 2 fonts the "large" font file size is alittle over 7Mb = Bert is cheating on ernie font package
If out of the 2 fonts the "large" font file size is alittle over 9Mb = Bert and ernie reloaded font package
If out of the 2 fonts the "large" font file size is alittle over 15mb = Bert and ernie reloaded "experimental" font package


Also there are 2 dll's that can be used with the Complex-Loader dash depending on your kernel.

If you have a 3944 or a 4034 kernel version use the 4034.dll
If you have a 4817 or a 5101 kernel version use the MOD3.dll





Now in order to get things working right you have to use a proper combination of the font to kernel support.
SO far these are what has been found:

Complex Method -

3944

If you want to be able to create backups and play backups and your kernel is a 3944 Kernel use:
   Complex-Loader 1.1 with the Bert is cheating on Ernie font package
   ** NOTE ** Remember use the 4034.dll ** NOTE**
If you want to be able to only play backups and your kernel is a 3944 Kernel use:
   Complex-Loader 1.1 with the Bert and ernie reloaded font package

4034

If you want to be able to create backups and play backups and your kernel is a 4034 Kernel use:
   Complex-Loader 1.1 with the Bert is cheating on Ernie font package

Evolution-X Method -
** NOTE ** In the Evolution X method all .xbe files must be signed using            ** NOTE **

** NOTE ** This is why I have yet to test the much of the Evox Method.   ** NOTE **

Ok here is my experience with above listings:

Kernel 3944

Transferred Bert.xtf and Snuffleupagus.xtf to c/Fonts (Files Extracted from Bert Is Cheating on Ernie)

Transferred !Loader dir and default.xbe to c/ (Files Extracted from Loader.v1.10-FX)

Once rebooted the system comes to black screen and LED flashes Red/Orange/Green repeatedly.

So there is Redled, Region, and 4034.dll in Patches dir, bert and snuf, from BICOE in Fonts dir, and the default.xbe from complex v1.1 in root.  I believe that is followed to a T from above list.  But not reaching complex, please help.  Also if read correctly with complex one can backup and run from HD, without signing xbe's?

Ok did some playing around, and I am able to get complex to boot, if I use the 15mb experiemental font, although, if I place an original game in, and press Y to refresh it crashs.  But thats one step closer, any other ideas.  Also can one use complex as a game ripper in order to save to HD and run?  If not what do I need to do in order to get that to run

I'm using boXplorer to copy music, photos, films and CDRW backups to the HD.

It's so great - im gonna need to install a new big HD!!!

Did you use the fonts that were included in the COMPLEX-LOADER V1.1?  
Or the Font from the Bert is Cheating on ernie zip?

Also make sure you rename snuffleupagus to ernie.xtf

On the 3944 and 4034 models you can backup and play games yes....
Other models are still in working process.

This is exactly what i wanted the other day. It is so complex to work it out this day so many versions and how to find what is good for me and my XBox.

Wonder how you go about getting things like this pinned?

Of course once I'm dont testing a few more things this might update about the 4817 models and the Free-Evox methods.
