Sounds like you have fallen into the ....

Just to let you know Loader-Complex ver 1.1 with the included fonts and 4034.dll work just fine with the 3944.  It will even let you authenticate your drive.  

Now dont u feel special.


As far as the soldering... Ive done it to 4 box's now... its great to be able to jump between bios's when I feel like it.

i have a v1.0 4034 and can i use the complex loader w/EvoX & burt & ernie with my xbox?

Well since I havent messed with a 3944 before you may want to verify this BUT....

It is a version 1.0 xbox so I would recommend the executor2 4972 final v1 1mb.
I have flashed ver 1.0 ver 1.1 with it and it seems to work great.

I had the problem where it wouldn't recognize anything in my drive, soldering the motherboard and flashing the bios was definitely the way to go, as now everything works great.  Check the tutorial in the other forum about flashing the bios with the 007 cheat.  I recommend putting cutting a small rectangle in masking tape and putting the tape over the area you're going to solder because the pins are tiny, and with standard soldering irons it's easy to mess it up a $200 piece of equipment.

You know at first I really didnt mind the repeative post... BUT
Now that I've been working on this stuff longer and longer and seeing the same crap over and over I wish people would look around a bit first.  I know I did.

Also.... if you have a 3944 model... the complex loader ver 1.1 works fine.  Don't need the MOD3.dll.  Don't need the Bert and Ernie reloaded fonts... just download the complex-loader ver 1.1 and use the included fonts and the included dll
