In flashfxp go into the preferences.  Look around and you will see a check box checked for Passive FTP.  Uncheck it and try again.

i went to "sities" then "sites manger" and clicked my made up one i called "xbox" then went to the general tab and right beside it was the opitions tab and i went there and turend off passive mode and it still didnt connect ???

Ok, go into the evox settings and verify you have and ip address on the second line.  On your pc go to start->run->type "command" and press enter.  From the command prompt type "ipconfig" and press enter.  Post your results.
