alright, this is just an idea that i came up with (to fix my f'd up tsop), is take an xbox memory card (since it is flash memory), and turn it into a modchip, sort of mimicking a cheapmod. using usb, and a windows app to flash the memorycard, then solder it to the lpc port on the xbox. anyone tried this? or thinks its just crazy? lets hear it

i counted the pins on the xbox tsop, then the pins on the flash memory in the memory card, and there is the same amt. i thought of just taking off the tsop, then replacing it with the memory card chip, but then i changed my mind, since i dont have $150 laying around to buy a new xbox when i f'd it up. :lol: it was a shot in the dark, anyways

easier to install a chip to fix a bad TSOP and a cheap chip will cost way less than a USB memory stick

what rev box do you have? Cheapmods work great as long as you have a rev 1.2 or older. I've got 'em on my website.
