Alladin32 On 1.45 Xbox:flash Red&oranenge Then Off

Greetintgs Xboxes

I'v just fitted an alladin 32 in a 1.4 or 5 xbox (has focus chip) and i have a few probs. I'v fitted them b-4 but not on a 1.4-5.

With chip off, a short press of the on\off button the xbox is fine, but when u hold button for a while it flashes RED THEN ORANGE then boots normal (like it in off mode) or if u hold it down a little longer it flashes RED THEN ORANGE then turns OFF.
So what i'd like to know is what this error is.

I took the sst chip out of the little holder put it in a cheep mod, then put it in my xbox and flashed it with the M7 bios, and it boots fine in my xbox, but when i put it back on the new 1.5 it does the same.

Questions

when u strap the points the one on the right http://www.12tre.com/images/tvgames/Modchip/Aladdin_diagram1.5.jpg

1'st i tryed the wire on the normal point then after it wouldn't work i tryed it dicrectly on the little resister to the right of the arrow. WILL THIS WORK ALSO (THINK THE ORIGINAL POINT IS MESSED UP) ???

Aslo i'm using the do point on the back, this is ok isn't it ???

I'v checked all soldier points with multy meter and they SEEM fine.

Please HELP

The extra points are for the 1.5 ONLY...  to check if you have a 1.5 u need to use a DMM and check if the LPC bus has power.   The reason your box is fragging is because of the LPC connections seeing as how u checked that it already has a bios.

Use the Xbox-Scene guide to find out if you have a 1.4 or a 1.5 box.
XB-VERSIONS Walkthru

If yours is a 1.4 then u just have to redo the LPC again and make sure you have contact.... if it's the 1.5 then it'll need the extra points, and i'd reccomend a redo of the LPC again unless you're positive it's fine.

Good luck

EDIT: Forgot to tell you, the D0 point is workin fine, otherwise u wouldnt be able to boot select the chip and the original TSOP bios.

Glad to hear its working.   My guess is that 99% of all the problems people are having are due to the install.  The LPC can be a tricky little sucker to get the solder in just right.

Yeah thats right, i'v chipped about 15 xboxs with diff kinds of chips and say about with 5 i had problems which in all cases i was sure the problem wasn't soilder, but in reality say 4 of them were not soldiered correctly.
