I know this sounds like a noob question, but i'm not a noob to this place, i know all the rules... i understand the concept of the SEARCH button.  But i have a simple question that i'm sure everyone knows.  I was reading on the new free-x stuff, and i saw someone mentioning how "using the 007 trick does not allow you to play backups"..... i thought it did allow you to play backups, i though that was the point.  My friend want me to do that on his so he can play his backups but if it doesn't allow you to do that i'll just have him buy a mod chip.  Thanks a lot and sorry for the dumb question

also, does this trick stay on your xbox or do you have to do it everytime?

ok sorry for those questions i thought about it longer and i think i have the answers......

since when you do the trick, it erases your original bios and put on a new one, the same bios many people use to play their backups and run evox and whatnot..... since turning your xbox off then on again wont erase the new bios you put on using the trick, then somehow load the original bios, you will only have to do this trick once......

There are tools out there that allow for the use of homebrew to be run via these tricks, and yes there are ways to get Games on them but will not allow you to play XBL.


And No the trick is not Perm for each time you want to use the trick you must allow 007:AUF or MA to load and then load a game for it to work even if you did get the Ability to load a backed up game you have to load from the harddrive because you can not open the disc drive up and I don't think you want to work open your xbox and swap out a locked bigger drive
