I confirm it. I've reflashed my TSOP with Evox from an X2 4976 bios back to a 4034 kernel original bios without any problems. I've gone back and forth over probably over 15 times now experimenting with this new stuff.
The only risk I see is power failure during the 1 min or so process.
You could split your bios if you really wanted to, but it's not required.
I'm still wondering if you can make the 4034 kernel original bios into a 256k bios and flash it onto the TSOP on 1.2 and 1.3 Xbox's without any problems. This would make any Xbox compatible with Complex !Loader 1.0.
If that worked, I'd imagine the 1MB 4034 kernel bios would be fine on a 1.1 box.
I've flashed the 3944 kernel bios onto my TSOP as well, but went with 4034 since it's compatible with Complex !Loader 1.0. I had no problems.
Oh yeah, I have a 1.0 Xbox.
Obviously, using the 4034 original bios with Complex Loader 1.0 is a tad safer than flashing back and forth. Too bad 007 AUF takes about 1 min or so to load up before you can kick off Complex.
