tongue.gif

Flash = 0xda8c,"Winbond - D-BlooD was here",0x40000

Add that in your evox.ini and try to flash the TSOP.

Hi,

does anybody know, if the M27C2001 will work for modding the X-Box V1.2 using D-Bloods solution?

I'm not intending to flash anything, just want to solder in a chip and leave it in the box. The only code
I do have is the EvoXD6 (Bios-version 2.4) which works fine in the V1.0 and V1.1-Boards.

Most of D-Bloods soldering-points have the same name as on this chip, exept rp, g, w, gnd and e

Can anybody tell me, where to soldder this points, or will the chip work using the old version for the V1.1
board with connecting pins 16,22,24 and 31 (vss,ce, oe, we) together and then soldering them to
GND on the board?

wink.gif Hope it helps you all.

1. Coonect all the Address Inputs and Data Inputs/Outputs legs on your PDIP chip to the correct places on the motherboard this is all straight forward stuff, if you dont know your chips pinout you should do a search for it on google e.g. st M29F00BT datasheet.

2. EEPROM - Legs 16, 22, 24 should be shorted to GND and if its a 2mbit chip you should also short leg 31.

3. FLASPROM - Leg 31 should be shorted to +5v to enable flashing smile.gif . You should also connect legs 16, 22 and 24 to theyr corresponding places on the motherboard. That way you can flash your PDIP from the Evolution-X menu or even from Avalaunch when they finish that part of theyr system. smile.gif Well at least if you want to keep the homebrew in and not tsop flash.

4. If you are going to TSOP flash you need a switch on the following connections 16 (GND), 32(+5V), LINK32(+5v). Now when you turn the switch the switch will kill the GND to the PDIP, and the +5v to the PDIP and the +5v you send to the TSOP to disable it smile.gif

5. Dont forget to to short the 2 points on the top (the 2 points close to R7D10 on the top) and bottom (two points linked on the picture W) to enable TSOP flashing.

Hope all this information helps you guyes, if there are some missinformation then please correct me smile.gif

Have phun on your quests heh
