when your HDTV cable is connected, what are the settings on the M$ dashboard?
are 480, 720, and 1080 on?
try just setting 480 on and the rest off

then connect to your Pc monitor

Hi there, I have a X2VGA+ and it works great! Check the link at http://www.x2vga.com/

or you can buy a VD-Z3 if you already have a high definition pack. Check here at http://www.vdigi.com/

I'm sure you'll be really pleased with it. Almost every games I've played are supported by the X2VGA+, the only 2 games I've played that doesn't work are Metal Slug 3 and BattleField 2: Modern Combat but they can be Hex-edited to support 480p (480i,normal TV resolution, isn't playable on a computer screen).

X2VGA+ is a bit pricey but it really worth it!
