Clear directions as in download this program, then download that program, then download this program then 5 more programs then finally you can do it. But you have to somehow link all the programs together doing this and that. It's just too dificult I don't get it.

I just thought of something else you could try. Boot up your Xbox Live enabled game without having your xbox connected to the internet. Select xbox live and it may update your dashboard back to stock. If not, then you need the stock c: drive files. Those can be found on Slayers disk. You just need to figure out how to get on xbins to get that disc. Once you have it just FTP the c: drive files from Slayers into the c: drive of your xbox. Done. The other directions were only if you wanted to have a softmodded xbox that will work on Live.

Okay so unhook the ethernet cord out of my Box alright. No man all I want is this soft mod off of my Xbox I don't want it on there period.

Yep, take out the ethernet and give it a go. If it dosn't work then you need to go the Slayers route. Before you do that though, make sure that you have a copy of your eeprom.bin on your PC. It will help you out should anything ever go wrong. It may be in that Backup_Linux folder on your e: drive (by the way what is in that folder)?

It says Start troubleshooter I click start troubleshooter and it takes me to Service Required menu. I guess I'm gonna have to use Xbins or w/e. I got that Mirc thing....is the Slayers Disk on there?

Do I have to get that flashxp thing too?

I don't get what Mirc and Flashfxp have to do with removing my softmod. Or getting slayers...just is not making any sense.

Mirc will get you onto xbins (which is where you can find slayers disc). FlashFXP is a program to transfer files back and forth from your PC to your xbox. Do you currently have FTP access to your xbox with some other program?

Great, then you don't need FlashFXP. FTP into your xbox and grab that eeprom.bin file. It will save you later should something go wrong.
