Help...xbox Won't Boot Right!

When i boot up my xbox with the chip on the unleash x thing comes up then it fades away....then it just does it again......so i booted it up without the chip and it had some chinese writing at the bottom....so then i had the chip on and i put in the hlao 2 disc and it booted up......any clue whats goin on and how to fix it...plz help me asap!!

Well i can't mk discs...but my friend can..I'll tell him to do that...BTW when i try to boot it up w/ out chip on the error that i get is 05...

Your hard drive is unlocked.

The retail bios won't work with an unlocked drive. Hence the error 05.

If you boot up off the Slayers disc you'll be able lock it again with that. Just be sure not to format anything!

rllmofp's right and while your at it follow caster's advice and try rebuilding your c drive and or reinstalling unleashx(or evox if you are using slayers), also check the boot options on your modchip.
