That sounds like jibberish....try looking at the error codes explained in the pinned topic in the General Hardware forum.  Error 21 is the box trying to load an unsigned xbe file....you just need to get the msdash back....try cold booting a LIVE enabled game and click on xbox live.

Pretty far reaching concussions, the only time I have seen the error 21 is with a corrupt load or tampering of files through FTP. I 100% back jameswalter statement.

error 21 one means that one or 2 files are missing to make the xboxdash.xbe run
i found this out the hard way by trying to put my stock c files on to my new hard drive
i was missing 3 of the audio files and i got error 21
