Two days ago I hotswapped my 1.6 Xbox using a tutorial by Textbook.Everything went smoothly and I was a happy camper.I went out and bought a 160 gig Seagate,ran the Xboxhdm disc that I burned ,locked the disc and installed it.Only then did I realize that I created the Xbox HDD while it was set to Slave mode,so now the Xbox will only work with the drive set to Slave(which is limited to 37 gigs).If I try to change the setting with the jumper,the Xbox gives me Error 7.Ive tried redoing the drive but now my PC wont recognize the drive,unless its in Slave mode.Anyone ever heard of something like this?How can I fix it without ripping out anymore hair?
