Chillin_Dude does have good points, and I do agree with a lot.

I think installation wise, a softmod is better. BUT functionality wise, modchip/TSOP are better.

I do not agree that softmods are free however. You need a game, actionreplay/memory card/usb device etc which I definatley didn't have all of at first.

I suppose XBHDM way is free though.

It's all opinion based.

Yes, XBHDM is free and easy. So even if you don't have a memory card etc.. you can still do a hard drive swap for free if you have a pc.

And to the person that started this thread UXE might have 2 different files to use depending on if you want a g drive or not, at least with the last ude2 package I used it was like that.

IMO the easiest thing to do is install a mod chip
who gives a shit if you have to open the xbox you have to anyway if you want to upgrade the hard drive
and if your dumb enough to hold the soldering iron on the point too long then damn
my first time soldering was done by installin my chip and it looked better than half of the installs on here
most people cant get a hold of the game you need to do the softmod,
and i dont need to use my computer to install a new hard drive
my chip can format it using the bios

OK.. I don't think anyones gonna take any opinion seriously from someone thats half illiterate. You don't use capital letters or punctuation and your sentences are more run on than an oscar speech.
