Another source for some good wire, if you are stuck, is the audio cable for pc cd/dvd drives. They are unneccesary in the computer as digital audio extraction is better anyway, plus its one less wire in you case cluttering it up. Its usually round 30 gauge and is stranded......

Dude WTF, a wire is a wire. Grab one and you're good to go. Do as staple said rip open a fuckin phone cord and take a wire out, any wire, the color of the wire doesnt matter. If the wire conducts electricity its good.

I cut the telephone wire and now there is two little gold wires after I striped the wire in the telephone wire. Will I be alble to install the modchip with that?

if you only see 2 micro strands, i would think you over stripped the wire,severing some of the others...

I diddnt over strip it there is just two strands in it, and I am using a telephone line cord not the telephone power wire.
