I mentioned that X-S had no illegal files...hmm...maybe only once.

Anyway, you should probably post in Xbox Homebrew Software or Development.

This Gentoox distro......Im sorta new to the Linux/Xbox colabro thing so I dont know much

I checked out the xbox-linux site but doesnt help me too much.
You guys still recommened this for a 1st timer? Im looking something that looks something and acts something like Windows....

The GentooX and Xebian distributions are very easy to install. I'm sure that even people new to Linux can install them without hassle if you just follow the instuctions to do so. Also, they are the closest things that come to Windows on Xbox. Windows CE can work on Xbox, but so far it is in its early beta stage, and you can't even see the cursor on the screen.  And actual Windows 95 or 98 can work, but they have to be run through Linux, making it way too slow to get any actual work done.

With GentooX or some other flavour of Linux, you could use Azerus for p2p, which is written in java.  So cross platformming is no problem.

That is, so long as you have linux and the java runtime installed.
